Post Christmas Games Sales Orgy

I have like absolutely no farking will power:On the plus side every single one of those games was (at a minimum) more than $20 off of the current price for the game. Well, except Super Mario Wii, but honestly seeing that $10 off is a miracle in and of itself, so overall I'm happy with the haul and the savings.

Now if I just had more time to play...

As the universe likes the concept of the round number I thought I'd post up a quick mention that I hit 60,000 nerd points tonight. A shout out to Wysen for logging on to Borderlands with me to finish off my last co-op required achievement, which happened to be the one that pushed me to 60,003 (I got a few more tonight before bed).

It has taken me just shy of 5 months to earn 10,000 points, averaging out to 2k a month or so. Not terrible really, pretty much 2 retail games of points minimum, although I only rarely get the full monty of point available, as evidenced by the 10k makeup below:

I've not got to spend near as much time gaming this vacation as I had planned to (yet), but I just want to do a quick touch base for those of you sad folk at work who browse our little circle of blogs for something to pass the slow time this week.

My farking alarm

For some reason my alarm has not gone off the past two mornings. Yestday I assumed I had turned it off instead of hitting my one allowed snooze button (I went to bed late was zonked Monday morning).

However I went to bed early last night (around 9:30) and this morning happened to roll over at 7:10. Miraculously I had the youngest fed and ready to go by 7:18 (thank goodness she showers at night unlike her sister) and we still made it to school (along with the neighbor girl who carpools with us) on time.

After my first round of meetings this morning I will be investigating why the frig my alarm isn't sounding. Even with today being my last day of work for the year up I'm still Mr. Mom of a morning between breakfast and carpool.

What a week

With less than a week to go until vacation it seems work keep slamming in the requests. Normally by this time of the year deal start winding down, but not so this year.

It's good we are busy, much better than the alternative, but be damned if I can't wait for Tuesday night to hurry up and get here.
